If you are an avid watcher of lacrosse, soccer, climbing, ultimate disc, or swimming Central Washington University is the place to be. Central Sport Clubs is hosting 6 home events this weekend all over campus.
Collegiate Swim Meet
Action kicks off at 9 AM Saturday March 31st in the CWU Aquatic Center. Admission is free. Expect to see some of the top collegiate clubs from around the Northwest this weekend as Central plays host to their first home meet of the year.
CWU Ultimate Disc will be hosting their one and only home event of the year and rightly so coined the event the “Rodeo Roundup.” Central will look to compete will teams from around Northwest as they begin their quest to qualify for post-season opportunities.
Coming off a big win against Humboldt State over spring break the Wildcats will look to even their PNCLL North Division record at 1-1. The Wildcats will look to Bowen Hadley and Chris Johnson to provide offensive firepower and Will Houck to be backbone of the Central defense.
The NC3 is coming to town and putting on a “Ropelss Rodeo.” Some of the best collegiate climbers in the Northwest will converge on the CWU Rec Center to boulder their way to the top of the NC3. The NC3 is the Northwest Collegiate Climbing Conference and has members from Idaho, Oregon, and Washington.Action kicks of at 9 AM on Saturday March 31st.
The CWU Men’s Soccer team will try to sweep the Gonzaga Bulldogs in NCCSC action on Sunday April 1st at 1 PM. Central currently leads the conference with a 4-1-0 mark with Gonzaga nipping at their heels at 2-1-1. A win for Gonzaga would keep the number seed in play, a win would for Central would essentially clinch the number 1 seed into the conference tournament. The NCCSC Tournament is on April 28th-29th in Pullman,WA.
