CWU Equestrian Makes History

When Central Washington Equestrian looks into the history books years from now, they will look at 2012 and see the solid foundation that helped take the club to new levels.From finding a home arena to challenging Oregon State, a powerhouse in IHSA Equestrian, it was a year of newfound success that even led to national recognition.

Shannon Bedell, placed sixth this past weekend at the IHSA National Show in Raleigh, North Carolina. She competed in Advanced Western Horsemanship becoming the first Wildcat to take home hardware in IHSA Equestrian. This accomplishment will forever be apart of Central Washington University and continue to take the CWU Equestrian Club to new levels.
