Men’s Lacrosse Looks to continue their New Found Success…

Central Men’s Lacrosse will have their first full weekend of lacrosse as they head to Whitman College to take on the Missionaries in a heated PNCLL North battle that will pit Central’s leader scorers Chris Johnson (13 goals, 5 pts per game) and Bowen Hadley (11 goals, 4.3 pts per game) against the Whitman defense who in their two opening games against Portland and Portland only let in 9 goals per game. Central’s defense has clamped down since the Western Oregon game only allowing 15 goals a game. Central will need the defense to step up this game if they want to prevail. This will be both teams first PNCLL North match up. Whitman has advanced to the PNCLL playoffs since 2006. Central will look to end that streak with a win a Saturday in Walla Walla.

After the Whitman game, the Wildcats will head home to Ellensburg to host Washington State in their home opener at Nicholson Multipurpose Fields across from the Fieldhouse on Sunday Mar. 4th at 12 PM.WSU is a very tough opponent and will give the Wildcats a major challenge. This game will be a Division crossover as WSU is MCLA Division 1 and Central is MCLA Division 2.
